UAE carrier Etisalat blocked WhatsApp calling

March 17, 2016: The unconfirmed reports according to local uae site absolute geeks suggest that 'Etisalat' allegedly blocked WhatsApp calling service. This voice service working perfectly on other networks such as Du or uae's any wi-fi network.

The VoIp services like Skype, Viber are not yet authorised by UAE. Their service are still illegal in UAE.
