Release Date
The flagship phones will be available to see in Best Buy stores in beginning of February 24th, while carriers will have their launch on February 26th. End-users pay-as-you-go phones will begin from March 11th, which is the date when preorders are scheduled to be delivered.
And, the good news for VR fans, the early pre-order customers will receive free Gear VR virtual reality headset.

First Impression Verdict
For the sake of balance, lets be realistic, Samsung has invited the critics to write the negatives by not changing any aspect of design. The phone looks similar to the S6. If you spot S7 in anybody's hand, trust me, you won't feel any difference. For most of the people, this lack of new-ness turns them off from buying.
However, the phone is loaded with promising features that can any day gives stiff competition to LG G5 and Apple iPhone 6. The new version S7 fixes lots of problems of S6 in theory, like battery is now seemingly big enough, the camera is tooled in a right direction for high quality pictures, and water proof, expandable memory are another thing that makes S7 ahead in race.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is not at all a new kid in the block, but an old design with tweaks, iterations and refinements.
