US insurer Premera Blue Cross hacked, 11 million records compromised

March 18, 2015: Looks like hackers are behind health insurance firms in US, after Anthem hacking fiasco last month, US health insurance company Premera Blue Cross hacked and 11 million records are compromised. The company admits that its systems were hacked and customers data was accessed by hackers.The customers data includes name, addresss, phone numbers, date of birth, claims information and social security number.

However, the company's internal investigation reveals that no information is removed from their system. Company has consulted local cybersecurity firm for help and also asked FBI to look into the issue.
