HTC marks $11 million in profit in Q1 of 2015

May 1, 2015: The taiwanese manufacturer HTC last month unveiled their flagship smartphone HTC One M9 aiming to give a tough competition to their arch-rival Samsung and Apple. Their numbers will reveal on how far they succeeded in this attempt.

                            

The technology giant posted a overall revenue for the quarter one of 2015 as $1.36 billion, up from last year's $1.08 billion, not bad considering the popular belief in favour of Galaxy S6 and iPhone 6.

The company registers $11.8 million in overall profit for this quarter. HTC expects  further improvement in the next quarter, eyeing on their latest smartphone HTC One M9 and M9+ to do well.
