Here's how you can register your drones, and it's free for first 30 days

Drone Flying

From Today, everyone who own drones in United States must register it as per new Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) rule.

Last week FAA announced that they'll launch the website for drones users to register. The new site has been launched on Monday, and users must register their drones by Feb 19, 2016 or face penalty up to $250, 000.

How registration works?

The first step is to open their website from here, and enter the name, email address and home address.

The registration fee is just $5, and this can be paid through credit card. The users who register their drones on or before Jan.20 will get their fee refunded by FAA to encourage active participation. The same processing fee is being charged for any aircraft registration.

Now, after entering all the info, hit the next button to receive personal identification number and a certificate to print out. Make sure to note down the PIN number, if you don't have printer to print the certificate.

That's it, you have your drone registered now. Happy flying!
