While the CEO of Apple Tim cook takes their company's blog to oppose the court order citing the security of their customers and he further writes, "The FBI may use different words to describe this tool, but make no mistake: Building a version of iOS that bypasses security in this way would undeniably create a back door,”

The devices that runs on Apple's iOS software has a self-destructing security code feature, that erases the entire phone after too many wrong password attempts. This protects users from illegal use of their data by hackers.
And Tim don't want to risk their customer's data, “For years, cryptologists and national security experts have been warning against weakening encryption. Doing so would hurt only the well-meaning and law-abiding citizens who rely on companies like Apple to protect their data,” Cook wrote. "We can find no precedent for an American company being forced to expose its customers to a greater risk of attack."
So, what's next? Apple has five days to appeal to the court if they believe the ruling is unreasonably burdensome. Apple has not file anything legally as of now, but they vowed to fight tooth and nail against the order.
