Facebook new algorithm shows more posts from Friends

April 22, 2015: Fed up of seeing irrelevant content on your FB page? Well, here is a good news for you. Facebook seems to be playing trial and error method with it's NewsFeed, in a latest move, the company's updated NewsFeed algortithm which will now priortise more on your friends contents than anything else.
                          
It means brands and random shared links will take back seat while the photos and status updates of your friends will be pushed up the fore.

In a blogpost, the company said: "The impact of these changes on your page's distribution will vary considerably depending on the compostion of your audience and posting activity.

"In some cases, post reach and referral traffic could potentially decline. Overall, pages should continue to post things that people find meaningful and consider these best practices for driving referral traffic."

Another useful development is, updates showing friends liking or commenting on a post will appear further down the News Feed or doesn't appear at all.
