Artificial Intelligence firm Quid raised $39 million

March 19, 2015: In a statement today, Quid announced that it has raised $39 million in Series D round.
                                  

As per their website, Quid is an Artificial Intelligence platform which explores a millions of data points, gain better understanding of any subject, accelerate your speed to insight and can allow access easily from your browser without any setup required. It combines a search premium data and high performance algorithms to create visualizations of markets, trends, and cultural phenomena.

As per Techcrunch reports, the latest funding was led by Liberty Intetactive corporation, with participation from ARTIS Ventures, Buchanan Investments, Sub-traction Capital, Tiger Partners, Thomas H.Lee Limited Family Partnership II, Quid chairman Charles Lho and Quid board member Michael Patsalos-Fox.
