Facebook plans to open consumer 'topic data' to businesses. Topic data is basically a tool which let's marketers analyse the audience behavior on Facebook activities, events, brands and topics. This information will help marketers in planning their policies on how to market their products and services on Facebook.
The Data will be only available to the partners of DataSift, which will be going to hold the exclusivity of this service.
This service is currently available to the businesses in US and UK.
