A look at Super Bowl Tech and how to stream it live online

Super Bowl, a Annual championship of National Football League gearing up to reach it's 50th anniversary today, not only it brings a great athletic game, but also a awesome new technology that expected to take the viewers experience to a new level. We're peeping in to provide a look at behind the scenes of this sophisticated sports, to give you an overview of how Tech evolved in Super Bowl in all these years.

High Tech Cameras

As TechCrunch writes, the camera tech came a long way, Super Bowl 1 used to air on CBS and NBC simultaneously, and most of the time footage used to wiped off. Now, NFL is able to locate all 145 plays of the game on few dozen sources, which join together gives a rich footage. CBS this time will have suite of 70 cameras, compare to 40 cameras last year. And not to forget the inclusion of awesome Eye vision 360, a replay camera that can freeze any moment and rotates 360 degrees around it.

Internet Access

According to the San Francisco's bid committee, most of the high profile tech companies like Apple, Google, Intel came together to help raise $30 million to make games more exciting and technologically advanced.

Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara, California, a venue for first game between Carolina Panthers and Denver Broncos, will have a free Wi-Fi access. The access points are installed at every 100 seats, and it's quiet an achievement given the capacity of stadium is about 68,500.

Social Media

Facebook photos, videos and twitter hashtags, the sporting event with social media is an experience in itself, and with that technology load in mind, 1,300 access points and 400 miles of fiber cable has been outfitted around the stadium to provide a glitch free experience.

While for Consumer oriented companies, their advertising and social media team leaves no stone unturned to hijack the hashtags to reach to their audience.

Super Bowl 50 App

The attendees of the game will get an access to Super Bowl 50 application, which allows them to order drinks that can be delivered to them without requiring them to leave seat.

How to stream the game online?

Well, I understand most of you this Sunday will be viewing the game on TV, if somehow you're stuck at place where you've an only option of viewing it on PC or tablet or phone, then here's the list of options for you.

• To View from Smartphone, only for Verizon Customers: Download Go90 app (iPhone and Android) or NFL Mobile App to watch the games live for free. For other network subscribers, download Periscope.

• To View from Tablet: Download CBSS Sports App on your iPad or Android tablet to stream it live online, and no account required.

• For PC users: Log on to CBSSsports.com on your desktop browser to view the big game live, and with all adverts like you watch on TV.

•  Watching Outside US: BBC will have a live coverage on BBC Two and BBC Red Button beginning at 22:50 PM GMT.

So, we came a long way in terms of technology, but passion for the game remains the same. We may now have instant replays, and updates right in our phone, but one thing remains the same from viewers of all seasons -love of the game, the rest is just an icing on the cake.
