Emirates becomes the first airline to launch Apple Watch app

March 18, 2016: The UAE's largest airline company 'Emirates' announced an Apple Watch app that will be integrating with current Emirates iPhone app and it will provide the itinerary details, flight details and other relevant information.

                           

A senior vice president Alex Knigge at Digital at Emirates said, " In today's connected world, mobile technology plays an increasingly important role in the overall travel experience of our passengers. The Apple Watch platform allows us to connect with travellers on a more personal level by providing real time information throughout their journey. Our team developed the Emirates app for Apple Watch with modern travellers in mind, making sure this wearable technology delivers key information, with a simple glance at their wrist."

With the neck-to-neck competition of airline industry, surely this emirati company having upper hand by catching up with the trends which people like the most. The app is available in English, French and German.
